About the Artist
I am fascinated by relief and portraiture – sculpting faces of the famous, the cherished and the unknown. My work is rooted in the belief that there is an important place for three-dimensional, tactile sculpture among the graphic art on every collector’s walls or shelf.
I began sculpting in 2000 and have studied with many of Edmonton area’s finest artists. My company, Life's Echo, offers custom portraits as a living tribute or a treasured memorial for a funeral urn or glass-fronted niche.
My work is represented by the Gossamer Treasures Gallery in Wabamun Alberta, and can be found in private collections in the US, UK, Netherlands and across Canada. I am delighted that the family of the late Stephen Hawking owns his portrait and that Nelson Mandela found a home in the Golspie Gallery in Scotland!
I am President of the Sculptors' Assocation of Alberta, and a member of the Alberta Craft Council, Harcourt House Artist Run Centre and the Professional Arts Coalition of Edmonton.
Born and raised in Montreal, I have spent most of my adult life on the prairies and currently live in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada.
