About the Artist

My work is rooted in the belief that there is an important place for three-dimensional, tactile sculpture among the graphic art on every collector’s walls or shelf.

I began sculpting in 2000 and have studied with many of Edmonton area’s finest artists.  My pottery journey began in  2021 and I delight in the interplay between the two ceramic arts.

My work is available at the Downtown Farmers Market in Edmonton Alberta, is represented by Black Star Studios in Invermere BC,  and can be found in private collections in the US, UK, Netherlands, Japan and across Canada. My portrait of Stephen Hawking hangs in the recreation of his office in the Science Museum of London England, and Nelson Mandela found a home in the Alchemist Gallery in Dingwall Scotland!

I am President of the Sculptors' Association of Alberta, and a member of the Alberta Craft Council, Harcourt House Artist Run Centre, Allied Arts Council of Spruce Grove and Visual Arts Studio Association of St. Albert.

Born and raised in Montreal, I have spent most of my adult life on the prairies and currently live in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada.
